Change the Windows 11 Screen Display Mode Settings
As best practice, the Instructor Workstation should be set to Extended mode for the Windows Display Settings.
Extended Mode:
- Screen #1 – The Dell All-In-One PC
- Allows for “My Eyes Only” viewing of grades, teacher notes, PowerPoint Notes, etc.
- Screen #2 – The Wacom Drawing Monitor Tablet
- After Sharing Screen 2 in the Webex Desktop App, any application you drag to Screen #2 will be seen by your students in class or students joining remotely.
Duplicate Mode:
- Screen #2 is a duplicate of Screen #1, the Dell All-In-One PC.
- You may encounter the kaleidoscope effect when you have the Webex Desktop App at the forefront while you are sharing your desktop screen.
- When you go into Presentation Mode in PowerPoint, you will not have your notes.
